COVID-19 front liners in rural Nepal
We all are going through a difficult time amid this COVID-19 crisis. There are millions of untold stories of people fighting this battle. We are bringing you one such story of the young front line doctors working in the peripheral health facilities in rural Nepal. Not many know how young doctors work in rural communities and even less about their journey in this unprecedented time. In the face of adversity, one has to become inventive and creative, and when there aren’t enough resources, one has to come up with fragile innovations. The video quality might not be as great but it reflects the reality of the remoteness where these young doctors are working and technical difficulties for communication. The video clips were recorded via video calls from their respective rural workplace, while we watch this from the comfort of our homes. Health Action and Research work towards bridging the gaps in the conventional concept of health through improved communication, storytelling, and research.
