
Dr. Richa Shah
Dr. Richa Shah is a medical doctor and a global health professional. She graduated with a doctoral degree from The University of Tokyo, Japan, with a dual degree in Global Health and Gerontology. Her Ph.D. research was about the adverse health outcomes related to frailty in older people in Kathmandu Valley, Nepal. She also has the experience of working with Nepalese female migrant workers in Japan helping them with improved access to healthcare.
She is experienced in field research, data collection, data analysis, and publication in peer-reviewed journals. She is proficient in using statistical software such as STATA and SPSS. She has diverse research interests, including, but not limited to, gerontology, migrants’ health, and sexual and reproductive health.
