Dr. Rolina Dhital

Dr. Rolina Dhital the Founder and Chair of Health Action and Research. She is a global health researcher as well as a medical doctor. She holds a Ph.D. degree in Global Health from The University of Tokyo, Japan. She has published many research articles in reputed international peered reviewed journals and works as a peer reviewer for different national and international research journals. She works in a wide range of global health issues including maternal and newborn health, family planning, adolescent health, gender-based violence, HIV, etc. She was the main conceptual architect behind the mobile app for adolescents on sexual and reproductive health called “Mero Lagi” which was the first of its kind for Nepal when it was first launched. She has worked as an independent consultant for academic institutions as well as for NGOs and INGOs within and outside Nepal.
